Children's photo report: Daniela
Not all children’s photo sessions have to be birthday-themed with cakes, and a perfect example is this mini session we did with a little girl named Daniela. Her mom, Samara, contacted us to ask about photo sessions for 9‑month‑old babies because she wanted to have a keepsake of her little one—just like the one she had of her older son, Cayetano. She wanted a memory of her daughter since she wasn’t going to have her baptized. We thought that this set and the props we arranged would undoubtedly stand out with our model, and that’s exactly what happened.
Daniela, our little bug
When Daniela arrived with her parents, she surprised us because she was like a mini version of her brother, but as a girl. Although, unlike her brother, Daniela was a bit smaller, she was just as, if not more, clever than him; her adorable “bug” face said it all and hinted that she was going to give us plenty to work with. That’s why, when her mom dressed her in the outfit she had brought and placed her on the set we had prepared, we realized we had to be quick. As she was starting to wriggle away, we decided to wrap her in a cozy rainbow-colored warmth to help keep her under control. Thanks to that, we shared many moments of laughter and captured photos that, as you can see, couldn’t be more beautiful.
As for the props, this time we opted for something simple: wooden boxes, wooden toys, and rainbow items. First, we took photos of her in a dress and, later on, we began with some shots of her without clothes.
Her parents collaborated the whole time to make sure Daniela laughed with us—even though she hardly needs any coaxing to smile… just take a look at her face of pure happiness and see how much she enjoyed her session.
Many thanks to her parents, because it’s a pleasure to work with such engaged little ones as Daniela, just like her brother once was. We hope you love it as much as we do.
