OUTDOOR COMMUNIONS: javier

Javier’s family arrived at the studio with the idea of having an outdoor photoshoot of his first communion for their little one. So we decided to do it at Oromana Park, a beautiful park in our town (Alcalá de Guadaira). It’s a very large park, which is why we always design different itineraries for our photographic reports, no matter the type. We agreed to meet at the door of the Hotel Oromana and then headed down to the park.

Javier was accompanied by his parents, his grandmother, and his little sister. We began the shoot in the park and although Javier was a bit nervous at first, he gradually relaxed—and oh, how he did! We truly enjoy working with children like Javier because they go through all phases until they know how to present themselves and decide how their photographs should be. His sister wanted to be a part of her brother’s shoot, and the moments they shared were very intimate and full of laughter.

The park offered us a lot of creative opportunities. After mentioning to Tamara that we like to include a more personalized segment in the session, she told us that her son loved fishing, and we thought it would be a good idea to incorporate this hobby into his first communion shoot. We nailed it, as the snapshots turned out beautifully. We even got into the river with a net to simulate traditional fishing. We also included another one of our young protagonist’s hobbies—in this case, reading.

Javier, his charm, and his ability to win our hearts

Even though it was a bit hot, that didn’t matter because the walk through the park was very enjoyable, as we couldn’t stop talking with Javier and his family; and after just five minutes, Javier’s sister managed to steal a little piece of our hearts.

Enjoy the outdoor first communion photoshoot of this handsome boy, with whom we had so much fun making and editing his photos.
