TOY STORY THEMED SMASHCAKE: DARIO

After three years of photographing our little whirlwind, what was left for us to do? A Toy Story birthday, of course—since our little protagonist has now become really into those cool toys. His mom, who already knew the answer, suggested it to us, and we couldn’t say no.

We prepared all the props with all the love in the world, cut out clouds like crazy, and made a banner in the colors and patterns of the movie; and Mª del Mar took care of bringing the rest—all the characters from the film were there! Even Forky couldn’t be left out! (And when it comes to geeky stuff, there’s hardly any convincing needed at Aps Fotografía—we love it.)

Smashcake Sessions with Lots and Lots of Love

Dario, who already knew exactly what was coming, walked through the studio door a bit nervous but eager to start getting his photos taken while enjoying his super cake. How beautiful is the innocence and excitement of our little ones!

The session flowed really well because, now that Dario is a bit older, he behaves very nicely (his mom and we might say that Dario is a bit of a rascal, but we won’t get into that now, hehe). We all had an amazing time watching him devour cake, get messy, and even try to get all of us messy, too.

He didn’t hesitate for a moment to eat the cake and smear himself as much as possible, all in the name of laughter and making sure we all joined in the fun.

After the session ended—and after ending up completely covered in cake—little Dario headed straight to the bathroom, looking just like a tiny Smurf. Enjoy him, because we certainly did!
