MATERNITY REPORT: ALICIA

One day, Alicia arrived at the studio interested in recreating a photo she had from her first daughter Candela’s pregnancy. When the day came to take the photo, she left the studio with the idea of doing a session with her husband and her little daughter to capture the memory of her second pregnancy. So, a couple of weeks later, we had her back!

When we discussed how she wanted the session to be, she mentioned that she wanted it to be different from her first pregnancy session—which had been outdoors—so it was clear that for this second one, everything would be done in the studio.

On the agreed day to take the photographs, the three of them arrived with lots of outfits, plenty of enthusiasm, and, above all, ready to create photos that would be cherished and to enjoy the time we were going to share. After deciding on the wardrobe, we got down to work.

It’s true that when parents come with their children, you need a bit more patience—but at Aps Fotografía, patience is something we have in abundance. By playing games with little Candela, we achieved some beautiful snapshots. For this session, we chose a white background to bring in more light.

When it was time for just the parents to appear, we selected a black background and began the more intimate part of the session. We can only say that they made it very easy for us, and the feelings between them took care of the rest.

They say Rome is the city of love, and in this case, one of Alicia’s daughters…

In both backgrounds, Alicia had the opportunity to showcase her baby bump on her own and to show us the beautiful body of a pregnant woman. And besides everything else, posing is her thing—and what a joy for us!

I think I have little more to say about them—it’s better for you to see for yourselves. Enjoy them, because I’ve been delighted with them ever since they walked through our door!
